Fields requiring JavaScript interaction may need to be hidden by default. To allow such fields to not flash on screen prior to being hidden, allow the container to have a class or a style attribute asserting the default state. Allowing arbitrary attributes (such as data or Aria attributes) may also assist with JavaScript interaction and accessibility.
